What Does Your Baby from 5 to 6 Months Like to Play With?

At this stage, the “secondary circular reaction” appears, in which your baby will continue to discover new things that may interest them. Now your baby takes toys or objects and improves the coordination of their movements. If you bring a rattle to your baby, they will shake it and make it rattle repeatedly. Or if they can reach an object, your baby will move it from side to side, zoom in, zoom out, and examine it. They will get angry and growl if they doesn't achieve their purpose! 

At this stage, your baby will develop the following skills:

At this stage, the moment occurs when they look at and identify themselves in the mirror. They may be scared at first, but then they’ll want to touch it and smile in front of it, and they'll start making all kinds of sounds. They already makes sounds and words like "ejj", "ma" "da", etc. They are starting to have a great time playing. Your baby will have more and more ability to play and relate, so stimulation games are ideal for this stage of their life. You can lay your baby on their tummy and leave a toy near them to try to catch their attention.

It is possible that from this age the teething will begin, if it has not done so before. This may cause discomfort and pain to your baby; they will drool more and put everything within reach into their mouth. Teethers will be your best ally!
